02 Feb Energy Baths – What are they & how do they work
Energy baths work vibrationally to harmonize the body, mind and the Spirit. In this post I’ll share with you different ways to support your energetic body & encourage the healing process with the use of energetic charged baths.
These recipes have been channeled. I am not a doctor.
THE POWER OF PLANTS
I started using plants and flowers a few years ago when I began healing my traumas. Although these rituals do not do ALL of the healing work for you, they absolutely help in harmonizing and unblocking things in the energy body. In my experience, they gave me the strength and clarity to keep going. For the past few years I’ve intuited my own baths for clearing, protection, healing, support etc. I’ve found that there are two types of herbs & flowers that I often find myself using: bitter and sweet herbs.
BITTER HERBS
Bitter herbs are used to clear and protect the energy body and spaces from any dense energies.
- Rue: This plant is common amongst healers. It’s very powerful when it comes to cutting energetic ties, clearing out spaces and the energy body, and protection. This herb completely strips the space/body of anything it may have picked up.
- It also aids in calming the nervous system and alleviating headaches.
- Rue is also associated with prosperity. It’s said to unblock whatever energy in your path that’s blocking that
- ROSEMARY: for whatever reason, this has been one of my favorite herbs to work with. Traditionally it was used to ward off evil, or provide protection from the plague. Physically, it stimulates circulation, acts as an antibacterial & antiseptic & tones the skin. Energetically, it clears away the energy body from unwanted energies and lifts spirits. Rosemary has a softer vibe than rue plant- so if you’re looking to clear something lighter go with rosemary.
SAGE
Sage is another long-time favorite. In my opinion, it’s the best plant for cleaning your spaces. Sage is taken for depression and nervous exhaustion. It’s a great tonic for women.
How Baths work
- Baths are a useful supplement to other forms of treatment. The heat of the water activates the properties of the volatile oils so that they are absorbed through the pores of the skin and inhaled through the nose. In both cases, they pass through the bloodstream, and when inhaled they also pass through the nervous system to the brain.
Aromatherapy Baths
- Aromatic baths are a simple, useful, versatile way to use essential oils at home. They can be used to enhance moods, relax or stimulate body symptoms, treat skin disorders, and ease musculoskeletal pain. Essential oils do not dissolve in water but form a thin film on the surface. The heat of the water releases their vapor and aids absorption into the skin.
- Basic measurements. Fill the bath with warm water before you add the oils. For adults add 5-10 drops. Less than 4 for children over 2 and 1 drop for babies.
FLOWER ESSENCES
- Flower remedies are used therapeutically to harmonize the body, mind and spirit. They work vibrationally on a mental and emotional level, to relieve negative feelings, encourage the healing process, and balance energy in the body.
- Rockrose gives courage and brings faith
HOW TO PREPARE THE SPACE
You want to make sure that you clean the space physically and energetically.
Make sure you shower before. You’re going to use the bathwater just to soak. If you don’t have a bathtub you can prep the water overnight in a bucket or a pitcher. After your shower, you can pour the water over your body asking for protection or using whatever affirmation you’ve chosen for your intention.
